“God perfects the call, He doesn’t call the perfect” (Pastor Benjamin, Youth Pastor, The Zone Ministry, New Creation Church)
“God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.”
(1 Corinthians 1:28, NLT)
God uses us where we are, with what we have. But He doesn’t leave us there, no! He takes the little that we have, our 5 loaves and 2 fish, and he gives us 12 basket fulls leftover! So don’t despise the days of small beginnings, your imperfections, and what you have in your hand. Whatever you place in HIS hand, will surely multiply and overflow!
obviate asked: Hey, I was wondering if you'd do iPhone 5 (640 x 1136px) wallpapers? Thanks.
Hello, I hadn’t realized iPhone wallpaper sizes had change. :P (Am no longer on iPhone). I’ll take note to make future wallpapers sized for iPhone 5 as well! :)
Lyrics from Man of Sorrows (Hillsong), 2012 Easter single. Such a beautiful, beautiful anthem of the finished work of the cross and what it has bought FOR us. Not what we have done for Him, but what we receive by grace because of what His love on the cross has GIVEN us!
I’m saved by grace. Redeemed by the finished work on the cross. An original drawing.
Just had a great Easter weekend remembering the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and just being completely grateful for all He has done for me, and all that He is to me. :)
This line has stuck with me since finishing Andy Stanley’s book, ‘Visioneering’. It speaks of how when Nehemiah was commissioned by the Lord to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, he did not make time for his detractors who wanted to distract him from completing the work by asking him to come down. In life, there are many good opportunities that will come and doors that will open because of the favor of the Lord. But what has He called you to do? If your life is filled with many good things, are they are distracting you from the great that God has called you to?
Lyrics from the bridge of Oceans (Where Feet May Fail), from the latest Hillsong United album “Zion”. It’s an amazing, worshipful album and this particular track leapt out of me and has been on loop for the past couple of hours.
As I’d been getting quite a number of requests over the past few years about selling prints of some of my artwork, you can now purchase some of my designs via my Society6 store. Most of the designs are available as art prints, framed prints, canvas prints, iPhone cases/stickers and laptop stickers. A few are also available as cushion covers, t-shirts and hoodies.
Do help to spread the word around! Society6 also has free domestic and international shipping till Sunday! So it’s a great time to grab something you like. :)
And oh, if you still want to purchase copies of the Bible Verse Calendar (it’s a non specific, perpetual calendar so you can use it all year, any year!), they’re still available via my Big Cartel store here.
So here we go – wallpapers for New Creation Church’s Theme of 2013: The Key of David (Isaiah 22:22). Took my time to do up this one as the theme of the year really anchors what we believe for the upcoming months and I wanted it to be something I would really want to have as my phone/desktop wallpaper for most of the year ahead.
I’ve done it up in three different colors so there’s something for everyone. :) This was hand-drawn, scanned and worked on in illustrator and photoshop.
